The Curaçao men’s national football team represents Curaçao in international competition and is governed by the Federashon Futbòl Kòrsou. A recognized member of FIFA and CONCACAF, the national team competes as the official successor to the former Territory of Curaçao and the Netherlands Antilles, carrying forward a footballing lineage that spans more than a century.

Curaçao’s modern identity as a national team emerged following the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010, with the country competing independently under its current constitutional status beginning in 2011. Both FIFA and CONCACAF formally recognize Curaçao as the direct successor to its predecessor teams, allowing the nation to retain historical records and competitive continuity within international football.

The program reached a historic milestone in November 2025, when Curaçao topped its qualifying group and secured qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That achievement made Curaçao the smallest nation by population and land area ever to qualify for the World Cup, and the first non-sovereign national team from the Americas to do so since the early history of the competition. The qualification marked one of the most remarkable breakthroughs in modern international football.
